Chester Zoo wildlife sessions
Lower School enjoyed the first of their three UK wildlife sessions this week with Chester Zoo. During the session, students learned about the difference between native and non-native wildlife in the UK.
They then explored habitats around the school grounds, looking closely at the environment and spotting examples of wildlife living in and around the school. The students were excited to discover just how much nature can be found right on their doorstep!
To finish the session, everyone made bird feeders, which were hung in the trees around the school to help support the local wildlife. It was a fun and hands-on way to help care for the animals that share our environment.
