A Busy First Week Back!
What a busy and exciting first week back at Bryn Tirion Hall School!
We have welcomed new staff and pupils to the school, who have settled in brilliantly and become part of our school community.
Our EL groups have been out and about, completing recce walks along the Llangollen Canal and helping with the locks along the way. Pupils have also enjoyed an exciting session at the indoor climbing wall, where they learned how to tie a figure-of-eight knot before taking on bouldering and climbing challenges. Teamwork was at its best!
Our School Links college courses have also started, with Year 10 and 11 pupils attending courses in Photography, Sport, Construction, and Hair & Beauty. It has been fantastic to see pupils developing new skills and exploring different career pathways.
Interventions with Steve have had some amazing results, with pupils learning to ride bikes independently. This is a fantastic achievement and will enable pupils to participate fully in our Bike Maintenance course, which will run weekly up until half term for selected Year 7 pupils.
Our Military Preparation Training College (MPCT) weekly sessions have also started again. In addition, we have pupils attending taster days next week, with a view to joining the sessions on a weekly basis.
It has certainly been a busy start to the new school year, and we are looking forward to all the exciting opportunities still to come!
