Welsh Water Session
Our KS3 classes took part in interactive STEM sessions delivered by Welsh Water. They were challenged to supply towns with water from a treatment centre to various buildings through a network of pipes.
Students then tested their engineering skills by filling the treatment centre with water and observing how it flowed to the buildings. They used problem-solving skills to identify and fix leaks, adjusting the pipe network where necessary to improve water flow.
