Special School Lifetime Achievement Award
Bryn Tirion Hall School are thrilled to announce that this year’s Special School Lifetime Achievement Award goes to an exceptional duo: Nicky and Wardy. Together, they have transformed outdoor education at Bryn Tirion Hall School through their visionary creation of the External Leadership (EL) programme. Their commitment, energy, and passion have given our pupils unforgettable experiences—from paddleboarding, climbing, and bushcraft to multi-day expeditions and camping under the stars. More importantly, their work has boosted attendance, resilience, confidence, and wellbeing, creating life-changing opportunities for young people and their families. Nicky and Wardy’s impact stretch far beyond activities; they have built stronger relationships, supported parents and carers, and shown what is possible when learning has no walls. We are incredibly proud to celebrate Nicky and Wardy as our Lifetime Achievement Award Winners 2025. Their dedication continues to inspire our whole school community.
