Chester Zoo Sessions
Lower School have completed a ‘UK Wildlife’ programme with Chester Zoo. During the programme, pupils explored animals native to the UK and discussed ways we can help protect them. They identified wildlife around our school grounds and made bird feeders to encourage even more species to visit. Pupils also created wildflower seed bombs to help attract insects to our grounds. Finally, they explored how building infrastructure can damage natural habitats, and discussed the importance of creating and protecting spaces where wildlife can thrive.
